• Organization and supervision of all work phases, supervision of safety measures, handling unforeseen situations. Supervision, control, and/or preparation of workspaces, materials, instruments, and tools. Independent performance of the most demanding analyses and examinations of biological materials. Supervision and execution of complex calibration and control procedures, quality of work, and maintenance of quality assurance systems. Review of laboratory findings, interpretation of results, and advising clients for rational diagnostics. Ensuring rational diagnostics, economical management of all laboratory resources, introducing new tests, methods, and equipment. Monitoring and implementing national and international recommendations, ensuring prescribed standards for quality and safe work. Supervision and/or preparation of laboratory documentation and registers. Preparation of materials for patients and healthcare workers, notifications. Informing clients about possible errors, taking action for improvement, and resolving complaints. Knowledge transfer, mentoring. Research and project work. Work organization. Collaboration in interdisciplinary groups and monitoring the laboratory's cost status. Other tasks within competencies and as instructed by the supervisor.

• Specialization in medical biochemistry. Minimum 4 years of experience. Short-cycle tertiary education. Driving license category B. Ability to work in two shifts.

• Indefinite contract after a 4-month probationary period. Full-time employment (40 hours per week). Graded position based on work experience.
