• Organization and supervision of all work phases, supervision of safety measures implementation, handling unforeseen situations (e.g., equipment failures). Supervision, control and/or preparation of workspaces, materials, apparatus and work aids, and independent performance of the most demanding analyses and examinations of various biological materials. Supervision and performance of more complex control-calibration procedures, quality of work and maintenance of quality assurance systems. Review of laboratory findings and interpretation of results and advising clients for rational diagnostics. Care for rational diagnostics, ensuring economical management of all resources within the laboratory, introduction of new tests, analytical methods and apparatus. Monitoring and implementation of national and international recommendations and ensuring prescribed standards for quality and safe work. Supervision over and/or preparation of laboratory documentation, various registers. Preparation of materials for patients and healthcare workers, notifications. Informing the client in case of possible errors and taking action for improvement and resolving complaints. Knowledge transfer, mentoring. Research and project work. Work organization. Collaboration in interdisciplinary groups within the healthcare organization and supervision of the laboratory's cost status. Other tasks within the scope of competencies and as instructed by the supervisor.

• Specialization in medical biochemistry. Minimum 4 years of experience. Education level: Short-cycle tertiary education. Driving licence: B.

• Indefinite contract after a 4-month probationary period. Full-time employment (40 hours). Graded position based on work experience.
